Overview

PJ Money Exchange provides exchange and transfer rate information, recent rate trends, a currency calculator, offers, and service updates. This policy applies to the PJ Money Exchange mobile application and the website at pragashj.cloud.

The service is an informational rate companion. Values shown in the app or website are indicative and can change without notice.

Information we use

Information you do not have to provide

We do not ask you to create a personal account. We do not require your name, email address, address, identity documents, bank details, card details, or transaction history to use the app.

App and device information

When the app first runs, it creates a device identifier so our service can recognize the installation. The service also stores the last-seen time and your selected preferences, such as favorite currency, default currency, notification setting, and color theme.

Calculator values

Amounts entered in the calculator are used to display the calculation on your device. The app does not submit calculator amounts as a money transfer or payment instruction.

Basic technical data

Like most internet services, our hosting and network providers may process basic request data such as IP address, device or browser type, request time, and error information for delivery, reliability, and security.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above to:

• authenticate an app installation and deliver current rate data;
• remember currencies, theme, and notification preferences;
• provide rate history, offers, app updates, and support information;
• maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your information to execute financial transactions, build advertising profiles, or sell personal information.

Push notifications

If you allow notifications, the app obtains a push token through the device notification service and sends it to our service so we can deliver relevant updates. Notification permission is optional. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or your device settings.

Notification delivery may involve your operating-system provider and Expo’s notification service, which process the push token according to their own privacy terms.

Sharing & retention

We do not sell or rent personal information. Limited data may be processed by service providers that help operate the app, such as hosting, rate-data, security, and push-notification providers. They receive only what is needed to perform those services.

Device records and preferences are retained while needed to operate the service. Technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably required for security and troubleshooting. We may retain information longer where required by law.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information in transit and in our systems. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, please contact us.

Your choices

You can change app preferences and notification permission from the app or device settings. You may clear locally stored app data by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it. To ask about a server-side device record, contact us with enough information to identify the relevant installation.

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
